Following a successful op today while winding down and shooting the shit on comms one of my corp mates posed the question to every one: What was your first PvP kill?
I think everyone remembers their first PvP kill. After about three months of playing Eve and running missions I created Harrigan with the sole purpose of getting in to PvP. I began training the skills and was decently under way when I learned of Suddenly Ninjas. I was intrigued and with a smile said, "that's what I want to do". When worm holes were introduced in to game I thought they were the coolest thing since sliced bread. And that is where I got my first ever PvP kill.
He was sitting on the worm hole afk. A mining Domi, afk, in 0.0 worm hole space.
It was fun listening to the guys talk about the days, in what seems like so long ago, when they were noobs. Some of the old stories from 0.0 back in the day and the characters that were their fleet commanders were neat. In reminiscing back on my past from 2008 it's quite astonishing how ones history starts to build up. It does not seem like so long ago yet there is quite a good amount of history and memories that have piled up. Much more than you would think. But you have to stop and think back about it to realize that there is quite a bit there to reflect back on.
A simple question on comms led to some really interesting stories. It was quite cool and makes for a good, dare I say bonding, time. So when your corp has a down time and not much is going on ask the peeps what their first kill was. I'd bet it leads to some cool stories.
