Eve Fanfest 2011

The annual Eve Fanfest has drawn to a close for 2011. Now that I am a member of the Tweetfleet I was able to watch real time updates via tweets from the great bunch of Tweetfleet members who attended fanfest. Coupled with the live stream that CCP was doing, thanks a bunch Eve TV, I had quite a bunch of fun living vicariously through those there willing to tweet their experiences and fun.

While the form of participation in respect to "attending online" wouldn't even begin to touch the experience of actually being at Fanfest it sure seemed like a great time. Having loosely tossed around the thought of attending in person a Fanfest myself, and thanks to all the Tweetfleet members with their generosity of sharing, I am seriously considering going to Fanfest 2012. It mostly comes down to being able to get the time off from work at this time of year. That could prove to be challenging.

So a big shout out to all those who helped bring back a lot of fun and excitement as well as information to our desk tops at home for those of us not there. It's been a blast for me since becoming a member of the Tweetfleet. I can honestly say that being a part of the Tweetfleet has had an impact on me personally IRL. A bit of "quick to jump" and "harshness" has been lifted from me. Just a little. But don't tell anyone. Then I'd have to hunt you down and have a spaceship to spaceship discussion with you.

Tweetfleet. Keep on keeping on hammer down with a great big ol' wave. Harri will catch ya on the flip side. I'm tip-toeing across these snow caps and I'm 10-6 on the side, standing by.
