Stars- Sparkles among the blackness of space.
Feelings and thoughts- Sparkles among the blackness that is the soul.
I wonder- If we feel, even if only temporarily, a hole in our soul, a blackness, an emptiness, does that mean our soul is a blank, black canvas painted by what we learn throughout our lives? If so, is our painted by life's-lessons-soul left unpainted in certain areas to remind us of that hole? Or do life's events remove sparkles placed at birth- a complete soul with all sparkles there at creation, depleting us of the light, one light at a time, that is the good about ourselves?
Maybe our soul is complete at birth dying as we age. Or maybe it's built as we age with missing parts as we are reminded by life's events.
Does this allow, one by one, small lights to diminish their glow like a welcome light being turned off until the darkness of once painted, yet steadily darkening sky that can no longer overcome the shadows die?
