The Short Version of Eve Lore

One of the things I enjoy about getting older is a new found enjoyment or like for something that I have never enjoyed or liked when I was a teenager and a "twenty-something." I hope all of you get to experience this in your life.

As we get older our tastes in various things change. We enjoy foods as adults that we could not stand as a child. Perhaps our taste in women, or men for you females, changes with age. Staunch lovers of blondes now may prefer a brunette or a red head, as an example.

I'm a guy. I can sit and read for hours about cars, motorcycles, that thirty (30) inch IPS monitor that I so badly want. I can drool about hand crafted hand tools and squawk about whiskey and scotch. But one thing I've never been able to do is just sit down, relax, and read a book. Not even a book that is on-line. I'm too fidgety. It has to capture my attention and hold it. Novels and the like just do not do that for me. Guy toys do.

That leads to this recommended reading. Based on the above, and I do hereby certify it true, I highly recommend the following reading.

I have not, and probably never will read the novels on the back story of Eve. Even though I play the game it's the reading of something that I just do not care much about that I just can't do. I love the game. I don't care about all that sci-fi back story crap.

This is why I am recommending Mark726's Eve Lore Guide. It is short and to the point. It fills you in on the back story of Eve without boring you to tears. And it is brilliantly done. Mark's guide held my attention and was interesting enough for me to sit and read all of it. But it was not so long that I just put the book down and never went back to it.

For me to recommend this is a small miracle. And Mark pulled it off brilliantly. This is why I love this game. Many of the people who play this game are simply brilliant. And dumb ass old bastards like me can learn a lot from young brilliant minds. I also hope you get to experience that as well.

Special thanks to Seismic Stan for hosting this which allowed me to read it. Both of you gentlemen are absolutely talented. Many cheers.

It is a great out of game resource for information as well as a social outlet to connect with others who love and play the game that we all enjoy.

If you are not real familiar with Twitter here are a few tips:
You can follow John and his awesome statistical tweets by following; @CCP_Diagoras
If you want to be added to the #Tweetfleet list contact; @Rickypedia and ask to be added to the list. Then follow the official Tweetfleet by following or adding the column to your Twitter app: @rickypedia/tweetfleet.

Being added to the "official" #tweetfleet list ensures your tweets are seen in the "official" tweetfleet column by everybody who is in the official list without having to add the #tweetfleet hashtag to your tweets. Of course if you want people who are not in the #tweetfleet list to see your posts you would add the appropriate hashtag.

Searches to watch in Twitter are #eveonline and #tweetfleet. This allows you to see anything posted by anyone that includes those hashtags in their tweet.
